I am a writer, photographer, and video producer currently based in Denver, Colorado. I believe that multimedia can be a tool for inspiration, and try to approach every project I take on with that mindset. I am a 2007 graduate of the Indiana University School of Journalism and a 2010 graduate of the Master of Public Affairs program from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs where I held concentrations in Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

Upon finishing my undergraduate work, I was awarded the Hazeltine travel writing fellowship, a grant awarded to a graduating senior from the IU school of journalism. I used this grant to spend four months in India telling the story of modern-day leprosy, a disease that, while curable, is still spreading to almost a half million people a year in India alone. A blog of writing, photos, and audio clips from this trip can be accessed here.

I am available for multimedia and writing assignments, both domestically and internationally. I also do wedding photography, more of which can be seen here.
