I offer many services, things that make revisiting and sharing your wedding memories tangible and convenient. Things like Online galleries and slideshows to music you choose, hosted on my Web site in your own personal gallery with its specially designated URL, much easier than sending out mass e-mails or trying to get enough prints for your friends and family on your own. Though I can make prints for you, I give you a deal that most photographers don’t. I deliver all of your images on high-resolution discs with permission to make as many prints as you want on your own. This saves you so much money in the long run over photographers that make you pay for every print. I can also make DVDs of photo slideshows from your wedding. I can even cover your rehearsal dinner or take engagement photos. The possibilities are really quite limitless.

How do you deliver your images? What if we want more prints down the road? Do we have to go to you and pay more money?
I deliver all the images I take for your wedding to you on High-resolution CD’s. While I can get nice prints made for you initially, I am of the opinion (unlike most wedding photographers) that you should own the images after the wedding and be able to make as many prints and copies as you like. I promise that there will be none of this “come back to me when you need prints and I’ll charge you an arm and a leg for them.” I mean c’mon, right?
How soon after my wedding will my slideshows be up Online? For how long will they stay there?
Slideshows typically go live Online with your own designated URL within four to six weeks of your wedding. The slideshows will stay Online for one year from the day of your wedding.
When will I receive the High-resolution CD’s with all the images from my wedding?
The CD’s will be shipped within four to six weeks of your wedding day.
How can we remember our wedding day for more than a few photos from our ceremony?
A wedding day is so much more than just the ceremony. As a documentary photographer, my favorite thing to do is be around during the rest of the day … when the groomsmen are polishing their shoes, while the florist is placing those carefully selected flowers in the sanctuary, and when the bride’s mother is lovingly adjusting her daughter’s jewelry and hair. These are the kind of photos you will remember most. Don’t miss out on them!
So, what makes you a better person for the job than most other photographers?
The fact that I come from a different background in photography is one of the main reasons I do a good job with weddings. In the journalism field, in which I have my training, we are taught to always be in the right place at the right time. This couldn’t be any more applicable than during a wedding, a time when important events happen only once. Another important characteristic of any good wedding photographer is that he or she is not overbearing. I shudder when I’m at weddings were the photographer makes himself as much a part of the ceremony as the bride and groom, parading around right up front at the alter. That’s not the way I work. I’m not intrusive, and will still do a great job of getting the images you will remember while playing the proverbial “fly on the wall.” Also, there’s the obvious fact that I do good work for cheaper than most. I’d say that’s a good reason.
Pricing:$1,900
The $1,900 package. This is generally as difficult as it needs to get with me. No need for five different packages with four sub-categories each. Just $1,900 will get you:
1. Coverage on your wedding day for nine hours
2. An Online gallery of select images from your wedding built into slideshows
3. Delivery of every photo I took during your wedding day on disc with the rights for you to make as many prints as you would like … from your wedding day until forever.
If there are special things you want after your wedding, like DVD’s, high-quality prints, beautiful wedding albums, etc., we can work those details out individually. But in general, $1,900 covers everything you need, from start to finish.
